In its official announcement all three big brands KEIHIN, SHOWA, NISSIN are going to be merged. Below are the few statements from its official announcement.
“To strengthen the development and provision of globally competitive solutions in the CASE field, the business integration of Hitachi Automotive Systems, Keihin, Showa and Nissin Kogyo (hereinafter“ the integration ”) will be conducted. This is to inform you that we have entered into a basic agreement on management integration (hereinafter referred to as the “Basic Agreement”) with six companies as parties.
The integrated company is scheduled to have“ Hitachi / Hitachi / HITACHI ”as its corporate brand, but the brand for each product used in Hitachi Automotive Systems, Keihin, Showa, or Nissin Kogyo before the merger took effect. Will be used for the time being from the perspective of maximizing the corporate value of the combined company. ”
For the time being, the names of Keihin, Showa, and Nissin are likely to remain as it is.
