It was reported that the Yamaha team is now considering MotoAmerica rider Jake Gagne as Viñales’ replacement.
Sources claim that the discussions started shortly after the Austrian GP.And Yamaha may have already decided on their next replacement rider.
Jake Gagne. The 25-year old became a fan favourite with his aggressive riding style. He remains undefeated in his last three races. Rumours have it that Yamaha is already in touch with the American rider.
After his 13th win in a row, Jake Gagne’s name has come full force into the spotlight. As he has gotten the attention of the entire motorcycle industry and has even been commented on by MotoGP rider Valentino Rossi.
Although there is no official announcement from MotoAmerica or Yamaha.Jake also has to confirm that he has received a contract offer from Yamaha for the MotoGP team. And would take it if they requested.
