Hyundai didn’t keep us waiting for long! Just four months after its global debut in May, they’re teasing us with the launch of the updated i20 hatchback in India. They also shifted the Hyundai logo from its traditional grille spot, placing it at the base of the bonnet with a modern 2D design flair. At the back, you’ll find a bolder faux rear diffuser, strategically repositioned reflectors, and a more defined dual-tone finish for the bumper. Inside the i20: Subtle Yet Significant
While Hyundai retains the core interior design, they’re hinting at some nifty feature upgrades. Expect a dual dashcam – a popular feature in many Hyundai models. They’re also spicing up the cockpit with an updated digital instrument cluster. Powering the i20
Hyundai sticks to its winning formula under the hood. The i20 will roar to life with either an 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine or a zippier 120hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. For transmission lovers, Hyundai offers a manual and CVT for the 1.2-litre and an iMT and DCT for the turbo variant.
