Do we see Hero Xpulse 200 4V with dual-channel ABS?

Hero MotoCorp has indeed teased some updates for the Xpulse 200 4V motorcycle. One of the notable changes is a redesigned LED headlight featuring Daytime Running Lamps shaped like the letter ‘H,’ a design element commonly found in the brand’s recent products.

Besides the redesigned LED headlight, Hero MotoCorp has also hinted at different levels of ABS intervention for the Xpulse 200 4V. This suggests the motorcycle might come equipped with an adjustable ABS, allowing riders to choose the level of intervention according to their preferences and riding conditions.

The update for the Xpulse 200 4V includes the addition of dual-channel ABS with three adjustable levels of ABS sensitivity: Road, Off-road, and Rally. The Road mode will likely have a conventional dual-channel ABS setup.

    Offroad mode

However, there is some uncertainty regarding the Off-road mode. It is unclear whether the ABS can be completely switched off or if the intrusion will be minimized. Similarly, it remains to be seen whether the Rally mode allows the ABS to be completely turned off at both ends.

Similarly, as of now, we are not sure whether the Rally mode allows for the complete deactivation of ABS at both the front and rear ends of the vehicle or not. Rally modes are typically designed to accommodate aggressive riding or racing on various terrains, where riders may desire the ability to disable ABS entirely for maximum control. However, without further details, it is uncertain if the Rally mode provides this option.

Apart from these ABS updates, the bike is expected to remain broadly similar to the current model. It will still be powered by an air/oil-cooled, 199.6cc, single-cylinder engine produces 19.1hp and 17.35Nm of torque.

Apart from these changes, the bike is expected to remain similar to the current model.

Considering these updates, the price of the Xpulse 200 4V will likely increase slightly from the current price of Rs 1,38,766 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

While Hero MotoCorp does not officially confirm the exact details of these updates, the teasers indicate the company is enhancing the Xpulse 200 4V with these visual and functional improvements. It’s advisable to stay tuned for further updates from Hero MotoCorp regarding the release and specifications of the updated Xpulse 200 4V model.
