What we’re sure of is that we’ll be seeing a new retro-style bike with an and it will be coming from Kawasaki.
We’ll have to wait and see what happens on September 27. But this teaser video comes when the motorcycle community is seemingly more interested in retro style bikes than ever before.
New teaser
This new teaser video is longer than the first one we saw.And it gives us a few more details about the classic motorcycle that Kawasaki has in store.
It’s called a Z650. And it appears to be a modern take on a classic machine that will ultimately come out next year.
Let’s get the obvious stuff out of the way first. This teaser does give us a kind of look at the new model’s engine. But that’s a significant question mark that we already know will be answered further down the line.
We can tell that it’s a four-stroke. And we can assume by the look and sound (even though we don’t get to hear it clearly in this video) that it’s a parallel twin.
That’s what Kawasaki has leaned toward in its last few models.And we would bet it’ll be a staple of this new design for the foreseeable future.
The teaser shows an older man and a young male rider playing chess. We get to see the chessboard in action with the following moves .
At the second glance, we see the older man touching his fingers against the tabletop.
The reaction remains unclear but what we see behind the older man is Kawasaki Z650 parked.
It is enough for us to give us a glimpse of what is in store. However we would get to see more on September 27.
