In February, we reported Triumph’s ambitious plan to bring the limited-edition Scrambler Sandstorm with only 775 units.
The Sandstorm comes purely based on the standard Triumph Scrambler, which has a Euro 5 liquid-cooled, eight-valve, SOHC, 270° crank angle parallel-twin 900cc motor. The motor makes a 65PS / 64.1bhp (47.8kW) @ 7500rpm and 80Nm @ 3200rpm.
However, there are many aesthetics upgrades, and further, we see Triumph has pushed some mechanical updates.
The Sandstorm comes with a high front fender a new bezel for the headlight.
The best part the Sandstorm generates 50rpm higher torque. At the same time, we don’t see any other mechanical upgrades.
Europe will get this limited edition Sandstorm by May 2021. However, we won’t see this in India. At the same time, standard Scrambler is expected soon in India.
