Let’s get into the nitty-gritty.
Motor
The MT-125’s sophisticated 125cc, single-cylinder, SOHC, four-valve liquid-cooled EURO5 engine comes with the variable valve actuation (VVA) it features two intake lobes.
The 125cc setupÂ
The exclusive R125 derived technology enables the high tech engine to deliver outstanding performance and plenty of torque at the low engine speeds.
The motor calibrates to make 11.0 kW (14.7 hp) @ 10,000 rpm of power and 11.5 Nm @ 8,000 rpm of torque. The motor comes tied to a 6-speed transmission.
Frame and Design
The entire package comes stacked in the R125 Delta frame, and aluminium swingarm delivers light and sporty handling and impressive comfort at higher speeds.
Aggressive body design
The geometry comes optimized to achieve mass centralization and dynamic riding position.
It gets 11 litres compact fuel tank which also gives an aggressive look to the new 2021 MT-125.

Bold twin-eye face light the ultra-compact single LED headlight projects a brilliant beam that enables you to see and seen.

High premium upside-down telescopic fork, Ø41 mm at the front and the rear is unit swing suspension system offers enormous comfort while you ride.

Brakes are Radial mount callipers and  Hydraulic single disc, Ø 292 mm on the front while the opposite end gets Hydraulic single disc, Ø 220 mm. At high speeds, this class-leading setup gives accurate control at the fingertips.
Tire duties are performed by the 100/80-17M/C 52S at the front and 140/70-17M/C 66S at the rear.

The new 2021 MT-125 comes with negative LCD instrument which features stylish and easy to read negative LCD meter panel. The multifunction display includes a complete range of information.

The new MT-125 also has the assist, and slipper clutch which offers super light feeling at the lever that gives easy gear changing.
So two important things change in the 2021 MT-125 variant compared to the earlier variant.
- The current 2021 MT-125 comes with larger 11 litres fuel tank while the earlier variant had 10 litres tank.
- The engine now is EURO5 compliant.
