    What BMW G 310 R has to offer?

    Designed in Germany and assembled in India the BMW G 310 R is one such model which is output from two motorcycle giants.

    • BMW Motorrad and
    • TVS

    Both these giants have excellent motorcycle lineup. And when it comes to G 310 R, it is the result of years of research and efforts of these two manufacturers.

    The project BMW K03 started after BMW announced its partnership with TVS. Another critical point it becomes the first bike to be made outside Europe.

    Difference between current and earlier model

    • The new model comes all adorn with LED lights and blinkers.
    • The electronic package comes with ride by wire throttle and slipper clutch.
    • Also, it gets three cool paint schemes.

    For Style sport, you will have to shell out additional Rs 10,000 as it is the paint scheme with bold graphics and fusion of black, red and white colour and the frame remains red and the rims to are red.

    Cosmic black is a combination of two colours black and white with black rims.

    The third paint scheme is a combination of blue and white, which is a traditional BMW Mottard colour and looks cool.

    The roadster also carries the DNA and lines of its elder sibling-like the

    • F 900 R

    Competitors 

    We compared the 2020 BMW G 310 R with naked as well as faired competitors.

    While the websites of these manufacturers do show these models, however. Yamaha YZF-R3 and Honda CBR250R, Kawasaki Ninja 300 are discontinued as they are BS4 and arrive in new BS6 avatar.

    So we compared the 2020 BMW G 310 R with its fiercest rival KTM 390 Duke and TVS Apache RR 310 (Faired) as they both align with the BS6 norms.
