Marquez stays with Honda for another four years

Honda Racing (HRC) has renewed a four-year contract with Marc Marquez (27 years old, from Spain) who is participating in MotoGP from the works team “Repsol Honda Team” on February 20. Announced that they had agreed.

Marquez entered the MotoGP class with the RC213V in 2013 from the Repsol Honda Team, becoming the youngest champion ever.

The following year, he won 13 titles a year, including the first 10 consecutive victories, and won the championship for the second straight year.

Although he missed the title in 2015, he has been the champion for four straight years since 2016. Marquez’s MotoGP class record is 62 pole positions (1st in history) and 56 victories (3rd in history).

    Quotes from Marc Marquez

We are proud to announce that we have renewed our contract with HRC for four years.

In 2013, Honda allowed us to fight the highest class on a works machine.

Since his MotoGP class debut, he has won numerous victories with Honda.

I am honored to be a member of the Honda family in the future.

Thanks to HRC’s strong support, we are confident that we will continue to update this partnership, pursue common goals, and create success stories.
