The all-new 2020 Triumph Thruxton RS is officially unveiled today. Triumph had not teased much about this Thruxton and was silent. RS gets a lot sportier and with a decrease in weight and Triumph has stacked more power in it.
- The Thruxton RS comes with an amended engine that is stacked with 8 hp more compared to the earlier version that effectively makes 105 hp.
- The RS also gets a high torque that is close to 12 Nm @ 4,850 rpm. With more speed range of 500 rpm.
- The engine is made up of lightweight material like a new alternator, magnesium camshaft an entirely new alternator.
- The channels are cam profiles too are revised.
- There is a 6 kg weight reduction in the entire package.
- It comes aligned with the new EURO 5 norms.
- Brembo Four-piston M50 radial monobloc brake calipers.
- Tire duties are performed by the Racetec RR from Metzeler.
- Fully adjustable forks from Showa.
- Triumph also says 15 to 20 percent spontaneous response is reduced.
