News: Yamaha WR155 / WR155R is registered as a trademark

In Indonesia Yamaha has registered trademarks of WR155 and WR155R in Indonesia. Is WR155 on-road and WR155R off-road.

Below are trademark registration details.WR155 and WR155R in Indonesia, WR155R in Philippines and Thailand, WR155 was registered as a trademark.

This trademark was filed in December 2018. We could see that there are no other applications in other countries. For WR155R, only Indonesia is currently available. 

WR155 is a normal model and WR155R is an advanced version. If WR155 is an on-road model (motard), the current off-road model (WR155R) will not come out in Thailand and the Philippines. That ’s not true.
