Custom : Jerry Bartlett’s “Bon Appetit”

It took approximate 6570 hours for Jerry to create this custom 1980 Honda Goldwing. This custom build started in October 2018 and completed in June 2019 .

Initial impression’s make you wonder well is that a Goldwing ? As Goldwings are meant to be wide and they take their own space on road. However lets take a look at it.

What makes this build special and exceptional?

    • The custom is sleek having single silver grey paint scheme all over that makes it look very stylish, tidy and neat. Clean lines with no nonsense graffiti.
    • Jerry has used 1912 Wear-Ever coffee pot headlight and Speedometer housing that goes very well with the overall scheme of structure.
    • Vintage Salt-N-Pepper Shaker LED turn signals are added just the way they were meant to be for this build.Rear signals are added below the seat.
    • Long aluminum salad bowl gas tank nosecone is placed the right way and some part of it goes sliding down below a single rider seat that again matches with the entire package.
    • Other good part is if you look  at the key-less ignition start that Jerry has added it is placed right next to the seat and you wont find it near to a handle.
    • Apart from the list of components custom gauges are neatly placed.
    • Inverted brakes wow doesn’t they look just good and the clutch levers they all give a different look to this build.
    • Entire custom aluminum bodywork and trim has been defining this custom as one of its kind.
    • To make it versatile and offer a large amount of support to the rear wheel Jerry has added rear single-side leaf spring suspension.
    • The 45 degree fork rake gives the added advantage to the bike in terms of inherent stability.
    • Internal handlebar cable routing was done by Jerry. Also the handlerbar is wide to give a good grip for a rider.
    • Jockey shift air-horn control are placed on the left hand side near to the engine.
    • Custom exhaust pipes and good lord they do sound fantastic .You need to hear them in the video.
    • The only thing that was not custom in this build is factory fairings and storage compartments.

    She’s light, low, and fast!
Not only is this a one-of-a-kind, it’s also the outlaw of all Buffet Racers and if you serve this build hot with a glass of champagne, well then you need to call her
    “Bon Appetit”!
